WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR INITIAL DENTAL VISIT :
Being well-prepared for your initial dental appointment will ensure the Williamsburg Family Dentist's have all the necessary information to provide you with the best possible dental care. We ask that you please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow us to accurately review and enter your confidential medical history, patient registration, and HIPAA . We will always do our best to ensure that you are seen at your scheduled appointment time because we value your time. You will then meet your dentist and discuss your medical history and any dental concerns. We will then gather the clinical diagnostic information necessary to provide you with the best possible treatment, including a comprehensive oral health evaluation and digital x-rays. Your dentist will then discuss your treatment options, and you will receive a cleaning at your initial visit provided you do not require periodontal treatment (treatment for inflammed gums and bone). At the conclusion of your inital appointment, our highly dedicated Administrations (Anna or Shona), will schedule any adittional treatment appointments, and will work with you and your insurance to maximize your dental benefits. Your dental care is our top priority, and we will always be forthright about your dental needs.
